Heaven on earth!
I booked the Caribou Bay for a last minute birthday trip with 12 of my friends and we had such an amazing time! Mona met us at the cabin when we first got there and gave us a tour of the most beautiful cabin house I have ever been to! Decorated with antique cabin decor and perfect layout! It's an open and closed concept cabin which allows a big group to go off on your own or be in the great room with everyone! The bedroom arrangements worked out great for us! Couples had their own bedrooms and us single gals shared the upstairs bunk room with our private bathroom. The single guys shared the "man cave" basement and loved it! The house was so cozy and comfy we loved the inside and can't wait to talk about the outside! It was HEAVEN! We had our own private land and trail, a separate cabin up the bridge, our own lake with a canoe, our own hot tub cabin, we did yoga on the deck on the lake, and even our own fire pit that we used to grill our burgers and hotdogs (best tasting burger and hotdog may I add!). Mona was so nice and friendly! We had the music on loud at night and she said they didn't even hear a peep! We all honestly had the best trip and cannot wait to go back! The Caribou Bay is your own piece of heaven with family/friends!

The beautiful and serene surroundings makes it a great place for a wedding, corporate, friends, or family garthering. Our hosts, the Zelienkas' have paid attention to every detail. Both the dwellings and grounds are immaculate, the small lake was crystal clear and the main lodge filled with antiques that offered a warm and comfortable ambiance. You can't help but leave feeling rested and recharged.

Absolutely magnificent place! I was able to attend a retreat of fraternity brothers in mid October. Food and beverages were excellent and Caribou Bay Resort is a spectacular place to have a retreat due to it's pristine location and amenities. If you want to watch TV you can, if you want to play tennis you can, if you want to gaze at the night sky you can, if you want to take a walk or swim you can or if you just want to relax and do nothing you can. The hosts are wonderful people who pride themselves in offering nothing but first class hospitality. A great place for a family reunion or spiritual retreat. If my schedule permits, I'll be back.

Three day Weekend with spectacular Foliage
I was also at the fraternity reunion. The setting is as good as it gets for central Wisconsin, especially with the fall colors. It is apparent there are many hours spent maintaining the house and grounds to get such a natural atmosphere. The surrounding area is especially pastoral with rustic roads, wildlife, and Amish farms. This is good for any type retreat or reunion. There is an outdoor chapel which provided an excellent setting for thoughtful reflection for our group. The water side deck can be the center of most meeting and activities. The host know the area well and can provide many services.

Relaxing in the Wisconsin woods
Last week, I attended a reunion at Caribou Bay with guys I hadn't seen in over 40 years. This was the perfect place to get caught up. Maple trees were turning, the air was crisp and the place is better than you can imagine. Big pines across the water are perfect for walks in the woods & gathering around the fireplace at night. In the middle of Amish country, the local bakery has cinnamon rolls worth the drive. The place is spotless, the beds are great and the place is furnished with beautiful antiques. I moved to Texas 10 years ago so the big trees and cool weather was special. My family is planning a trip back here. Lots of room so everybody has their own space. The owners are near by to help with directions and advice. They are truly wonderful people who are there to enhance your time at the property. I recommend this place enthusiastically.

We recently had a group at the Caribou Bay and every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The hosts were always available but not obtrusive and their assistance was most helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and the accommodation most comfortable and convenient. There are recreational activities on site but relaxation is paramount. The Caribou offers a quiet and beautiful setting for a family or a group and is a place that affords a setting that we all enjoyed and will hopefully return to in the future.

I'd stayed at Caribou Bay once before, just overnight, and had enjoyed it. This time was a couple nights with many good friends and the experience was excellent in every way. This past weekend we had a most memorable Reunion of our college fraternity with over 30 fraternity brothers in attendance from the 1960s and 1970s! Caribou Bay was the PERFECT setting for this amazing weekend! Our hosts were wonderful and the lakefront, wooded estate is absolutely stunning and is truly a little "slice of heaven". The amenities are truly amazing and I highly recommend Caribou Bay for a wonderful "getaway", family reunion, destination wedding or corporate retreat! We all had a WONDERFUL time!!!

Awesome Retreat!
We had 4 families with a total of 17 people hanging out at Caribou Retreat for a week. What a great experience. The owners at the home are very gracious and make you feel right at home. There was something for everyone in all age departments, even the dog. We enjoyed canoeing, fishing, swimming, hiking, hanging out on the deck playing games, the hot tub, campfire, etc... Making many fond memories. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future reunions! Thanks to the owners for making us feel welcome!

Perfect getaway retreat!
Great location and property for a getaway weekend for 18 adults. Plenty of room inside for a rainy night and the grounds let everyone do what they wanted - swim, canoe, yard games or just lounge on the deck. The owners were fantastic and had the property in tip-top condition with all the amenities. Will definitely look to return for another weekend. Thanks!

BREATH-TAKING, RELAXING, INCREDIBLE!
We were looking for a place to make special memories with our children and grandchildren at Christmas time and Caribou Bay has done just that! We have spent two family Christmas gatherings here and our family just loves it. The owners are amazing and they manage to make this a "home away from home" for us. It is very cozy and relaxing and their is plenty of activities for all ages. We are all looking forward to our trip back.

If you're looking for a nice private secluded place that has all the convenience of your day to day life then look no further. This place is awesome! The home, cabin and grounds are all very well kept. The main house is very large, with a lot of places to sleep, 4 bathrooms, a pool table, a hot tub, a nice flat screen tv and tons of neat decor. The cabin in the woods offers a more rustic feel, tucked back in the woods a bit. The lake is clear and very pretty. There is also a tennis court and basketball hoop as well as some nice hiking trails in the woods. I was especially glad that they were dog friendly because if you're like me, you like to take your pooch with you on vacation. It's is worth noting that we did find a few wood ticks on ourselves and the dog so make sure to treat your dog with tick meds before hand and check yourself periodically. Overall every aspect of this vacation rental has been very well cared for and I hope to return year after year.

We had the ultimate pleasure of a three-night stay at Caribou Bay last weekend. What a treat! It offered all the comforts of home for our two families, five kids and our three large-breed dogs, who also had the time of their lives! Great place!
We greatly enjoyed Caribou Bay. It has the feeling of a resort with all of the amenities (hot tub room, flat screen tvs, water activities) yet also maintaining a "homey" comfortable feeling. There is so much space and stuff to do that the time went by way too fast. Would love to stay again!

Our timing was impeccable! We were looking for a quiet place to spend time with our family after the hustle of the holidays. We enjoyed the serenity of the place. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing was ideal! Relaxing in the hot tub, and in front of the fireplace, delightful. Beautiful property, fun exploring and so close to the ice age trail. Gorgeous Property-Relaxing-and Great Family Fun!
My family and I were looking for a quiet, relaxing retreat! It was exactly what we had hoped for! A comfortable place to stay, a huge hot tub room, a place to work out, trails to explore, and a place to be one with nature! I have four children ages 5-15 and they all loved our vacation and even our dog Scooby joined us and had the time of his life! The owners are wonderfully hospitable and lovely people who will go out of their way to make sure it is a delightful stay. I would highly recommend a stay!

Best Place in Central Wisconsin
My wife and I have stayed here several times. We keep coming back because of the beauty of the home, lake and rural setting. The home has everything you could want. The home, out-buildings, cabin and hot tub we always found to be very clean. The cabin across the bridge is charming, with the big screen TV, firepit and benches. The geese and ducks fly in and out of the lake and the deer come out of the woods at duskt for a handout. Seeing the Amish go by in their horse drawn carriages takes you back to a time when life was slower and simpler. Our hosts were charming, energetic people who strive to make you feel welcome while serving your every want. We have stayed at quite a few motels/resorts/hotels in Central Wisconsion over the years, but this place we now come back to time and again. We love this place.
